This explains what the Indaga iPhone app collects, why, and the choices you have. Plain language, no small print.
What Indaga is
Indaga is an iPhone app that supports personal wellness and education. You can upload a DNA file (a 23andMe-style raw export) and connect Apple Health, including Apple Watch sleep, heart-rate and recovery data. Indaga uses this data to build your own reports and a daily plan.
What we collect and why
We collect the data you choose to give us: your DNA file, the Apple Health data you connect, and basic account details needed to sign you in. We use it for one purpose — to process it into the reports and plan you see in the app. Your genome is encrypted in your Indaga account.
What we never do
Your genetic data is never sold, and it is never used for advertising. It is never used to train AI. We do not build advertising profiles from your DNA, your Apple Health data, your report contents, or your health values.
Product analytics
We use product analytics (PostHog) to understand how features are used — for example, which screens people open, so we can improve the app. Analytics measure feature usage only. They never include your genetic data, your raw files, your report contents, or your health values.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data (export) or ask us to delete it at any time. Email us at support@indaga.ai and we will action it. Deleting your account makes your stored data unrecoverable.
